Senior SAP BI Consultant – Belgium

Base Location: Brussels

We are looking for a project focused SAP BI Consultant for an important internal, multinational client that provides a dynamic, entrepreneurial atmosphere that encourages team members to take initiatives and recommend ideas that will contribute to the success of everyone in the company.  The client operates in the food industry.

The Senior BI Consultant will identify, promote and coordinate improvement within the BI environment and experience working with its different components as well as experience in implementing and customizing.

Job Content 

• Participating in the implementation/configuration of the SAP BI solution as part of the global SAP implementations team. 
• Expert understanding of SAP BI / BW (s4 HANA / BW on HANA) 
• Analysis of business requirements as well as conception of effective solutions. 
• Draw the attention of management on the organizational impact resulting from the implementation. 
• Propose and facilitate organizational changes if appropriate and needed. 
• Help key users migrate the old data to the new system. 
• Propose and develop, where necessary, solutions to gaps. 
• Transfer to the Key users the necessary knowledge to use the application in a correct manner. 
• Stimulate continuous improvement. 

Requirements

• Years of experience in similar role: 6+  
• Training, coaching experience is a plus. 
• Analytical and service minded. 
• Flexible, stress resistant and team player. 
• Good knowledge & implementation experience in the SAP module BI / BW. 
• English speaking. 
• International travel: up to 25%
